Tyler is a freelancer with global experience shaping a variety of early-stage products—from board games to medical devices—and a passion for helping technology startups develop go-to-market strategies that build traction. He has a BBA in Entrepreneurship from Baylor University, where he cultivated an interest in developing new theories of sustainable value creation.

Miro Kazakoff: Co-Founder of Testive

Miro is Co-Founder of Testive, an adaptive educational testing platform that helps improve scores. Between stints consulting at Bain & Company and doing client services at Compete, he found time to live on a converted school bus and pick up a graduate degree at MIT. He dropped out of college to join a start-up and hasn’t lost the itch.

 

 

David J. Neff: Founder of Lights. Camera. Help.

David is a co-founder of HelpAttack! He has over 10 years driving innovation in the nonprofit sector, which includes starting the American Cancer Society’s High Plains online donations, film, and social media programs. He has started his own nonprofit called Lights. Camera. Help. and also won the American Marketing Associations Social Media Marketer of the year for 2009.

 

Barbara Talisman: President of Talisman Associates

Barbara is President of Talisman Associates, Inc. with  more than 20 years of experience in fundraising and nonprofit consulting. A social media early adopter, she demonstrates her talents and proficiency in online communication through her presence on Twitter, her blog, Talisman Thinking Out Loud, and radio show called Making a Difference.

 

 

Andrew Urban: Founder of Return on Mission

Andrew is founder of Return on Mission, which provides consulting services to the nonprofit sector. With over 11  years of business development experience in the nonprofit sector, he is currently Vice President of Business Development at Goodthreads, which creates customized merchandise that tells personal stories and supports a cause.

 

Sarah Vela: Senior Advisor Social Media at Dell

Sarah, an original co-founder of HelpAttack!, has been working as a content strategist, marketing specialist and podcaster for over a decade. She’s been a frequent speaker on social giving and content strategy at conferences such as SXSW Interactive, OneWebDay, and VideoCamp Austin. Her focus has always been on working for organizations that promote positive change.

 

Monica Williams: Founder of GivingCity Austin

Monica is founder of GivingCity Austin, a magazine about local philanthropy on a mission to build and support the community’s growing culture of giving. Monica is the communications director for the Austin Community Foundation where she develops and implements communications strategies and tactics to advance the mission of the foundation.
