I work with a cause and I’m crazy busy. What should I do?
We built HelpAttack! to work with what you already do on social media. Simply put, visit http://helpattack.com, work with us to choose a type of campaign that’s right for your cause, and ask your supporters to join you.
I can’t find my cause on your website. How do I add it?
If your cause is a US based 501c3, and you have a direct relationship (for example, you work there) sign up here. Other causes should contact causes@helpattack.com. Or, you can suggest your cause to suggest@helpattack.com.
Do causes get access to supporter data?
Yes, unless the supporter opts out of sharing their information, you can download a report of their HelpAttack! activity and some information about them.
How does our cause receive funds?
In most cases, donations made through our partners (First Giving, Network for Good) will be held for about a month to protect against chargebacks or mishaps. After that, you will receive a check, or a direct bank transfer, depending on what you have set up with that partner.
What works well for causes building support on social media?
Check out our published case studies. Also, our cause search page initially lists causes in order of the total support they have received. If you see one you know, ask them what worked! Also, check out our best practices.
